F.A.Q.

* What materials do you use?

They're usually stated in the description, but I tend to use the same materials: extra smooth Bristol board (smooth paper is vital for me, it leaves room for a lot of detail, and I need that as I prefer to work on smallish sizes) and Mars Lumograph pencils, ranging from 2B to 6B. Plus mechanical pencils, a putty eraser for highlights, a tortillion perhaps, if I need extra smoothness, a tissue and a cotton bud here and there.

* Do you have any tutorials?

I'm so sorry, I don't, and I don't intend to do any. I have little talent for teaching and even less inclination for it.

* Have you taken any drawing classes?

No, never, I am completely self taught.

*Do you take commissions?

I do, here's a link with more details: www.etsy.com/listing/82311183/… I'm sorry, but I will not draw your portrait for free or for points.

* Where can I buy your prints?

You can find prints of most drawings in my Etsy shop: [link] If there's a print you cannot find, just drop me a note and I'll see what I can do for you

* Do you scan or photograph your work?

I only ever photograph it in my studio.

*How long does it take you to finish a drawing?

1-2 days for a minimal drawing and anything up to a few weeks for a full detail one.

* How do you prevent a drawing from smudging?

I always keep my drawings covered with paper, except the small area I'm working on.
