An extreme close-up of [link]

I always get asked to do tutorials, and I never do, but I'm hoping seeing every single pencil stroke will help somewhat :cuddle:

(photo is much larger than the drawing)

So it is just layer on layer on layer on layer? :P I can never get how you do it?! and also with your minimalist how do you do that? Do you just leave the white sections white or have a soft layer of pencil to blend it all together????

I seriously wish I could see the full version but I'm not 18 yet. I have done figure drawing classes with nude models and I love it! I haven't done one in pencil though.

Do you smudge? And what pencils do you use, and how long did this take? And is the shading done in a certain technique (like in pixel art you can shade using dithering or anti-aliasing).

But what wonderful art! I'm impressed.

Very little finger blending here and there. It's layers of crosshatch and circulism.

"Very good" is an euphemism. It's a brilliant work ; just like a photo (and more when we think of the talent for which such a drawing asks) !!!
